Located on an unspoilt island, Funzi keys island resort is aproximately 1 hours flight from Nairobi, a unique luxurious, remote and beautiful natural scenery location surrounded by blue waters of the Indian ocean.

Designed to blend with its idyllic beachfront setting and to reflect the local cultures and the swahili architecture, the resort has nine very spacious cottages set along the high-water line and constructed of stone and thatch with large netted windows open to the balmy sea breezes.

Each of the rooms has a king-sized four-poster bed and is furnished with local wooden artefacts and colourful fabrics plus a Jacuzzi with spectacular sea view.

Activities for the energetic guest include sailing, fishing, windsurfing and canoeing and boat trips up the Ramisi River or Funzi Creek for an unforgettable glimpse of kingfishers, crocodiles and even dolphins on a good day.

The hotel is an excellent base for deep-sea fishing and scuba diving in the Pemba Channel, which can be arranged and paid for locally.
