The camp was previously reserved exclusively for Kenya's colonial Governors and their royal visitors who came to the country hence the name, the Main Gorvernors camp is today located in a site popular with both animals and people with emphasis on enjoying the wild splendors of Kenya in the highest possible style.

The Governors camp nestles in the forest along the winding banks of the Mara river, in the world famous Masai mara game reserve.

In luxury and style, the Camp fulfils the discerning and adventurous travellers clamour for knowledge and life changing experience in surroundings beyond the reach of modern day life styles.

The governors camp offers high standards in luxury in 37 Spacious safari tents with uninterrupted views over the Mara River and the plains beyond.

• The Safari Tents are entirely under canvas, each with,  private veranda, en-suite bathrooms with shower, basin, flush toilet, bidet and hot and cold running water, gas lamps, 220 Volt plugs at reception, room service is available on request, teas and coffee is served in the tents, morning Wake-Up Call can be arranged.
