Itinerary:
Sweet waters tented camp overlooks a floodlit waterhole
offering excellent opportunities to observe and photograph
animals in their natural habitat. Accommodation is in well
appointed tents, set under a thatched roof with and private
bathrooms.
A ranch style building contains the bar, lounge
and resultant. Food and service is of a high quality with
attentive management to ensure that guests are well looked
after. The price includes accommodation and meals and two
wildlife activities per day: game drive, escorted walk or
night drive.
Game drives are taken in 4 wheel drive vehicle.
The prices shown below are for the road package or the
option of flying in light aircraft to save transfer times
and to ensure more time at Sweetwater's for game-viewing.
Day 1
Transfer from your Nairobi hotel to Wilson Airfield for the
50 minute Safarilink flight to Nanyuki airfield. On arrival
you will be met and transferred to the Sweet waters camp (30
minute drive) arriving in time for lunch. Evening game
drive.
Day 2
A full day at Sweet waters with morning walk followed by bush
breakfast, lunch at the camp and afternoon game drive.
Day 3
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast and then
transfer to Nanyuki Airfield for the Safarilink fight to
Nairobi
MASAI MARA SAFARI Ref: MA 018
Duration: 2 nights 3 days

The rolling grasslands of the
Masai Mara offer ideal game viewing and photographic
opportunities and the grassy plains are broken by rocky
outcrops which are favourite midday resting places for lion.
Some of the other animals which can be found include
elephant, black rhino, buffalo, leopard, cheetah,
wildebeest, zebra and gazelle.
Day 1 Nairobi - Masai Mara L . D
Drive down the escarpment and across the floor of the Great
Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve for lunch, an
afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Masai Mara B . L . D
Morning and afternoon game drives to look for the ‘big
five’. Hippo and crocodile abound in the muddy brown waters
of the rivers which traverse this reserve. Optional extras
available include a hot air balloon safari or morning’s
flying trip to Lake Victoria to fish for Nile Perch. Meals
and overnight in the Mara.
Day 3 Masai Mara - Nairobi B
After breakfast drive back to Nairobi arriving at
approximately midday.
AMBOSELI SAFARI Ref: MA 019
Duration: 2 nights 3 days

Amboseli National Park lies in Masailand at the base of
snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Part of the Park is composed
of a dried-up lake bed which, in the shimmering heat,
produces fascinating mirages. The lake bed is subject to
sporadic floods but permanent watering places for the game
are provided by swamps and springs, fed by underground
rivers from Kilimanjaro’s melting snow.
Day 1 Nairobi - Amboseli L . D
You depart in the morning and drive towards the
Kenya/Tanzania border, through the border post of Namanga,
en route to Amboseli National Park, arriving at your safari
lodge in time for lunch. After lunch you are taken on an
afternoon game drive to look for elephant, lion, leopard,
buffalo, rhino, cheetah and a host of plains game. Dinner
and overnight are at your lodge.
Day 2 Amboseli B . L . D
A full day in Amboseli for game viewing. You will be taken
on an early morning game drive followed by a late breakfast
at your lodge and an afternoon game drive to search for some
of the game not yet seen.
Day 3 Amboseli - Nairobi B
You depart after breakfast for your return journey to
Nairobi arriving in the city before lunch.
Rift valley drive safari - Ref MA 020
Duration: 2 nights 3 days
Departing Nairobi daily.
Lake Nakuru is home to a million flamingoes and a wide
variety of other birdlife as well as many animals including
lion, leopard, buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, impala, warthog,
white rhino and the endangered black rhino.
Sarova Lion Hill Lodge and Lake Nakuru lodge are set high
above the Lake with beautiful views over the National Park
and are surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens.
Day 1
Depart from Nairobi at 2 pm and drive by minibus to Lake
Nakuru National Park, arriving in the late afternoon to stay
2 nights at Lion Hill Lodge with views across the lake. You
will take an evening game drive to see the huge numbers of
flamingo which are concentrated along the lake shore. In
addition to the birdlife for which Nakuru is so well known
there are many different wildlife species in the park
including lion, leopard, Black rhino, White rhino, buffalo,
Rothschild's giraffe, zebra, impala and waterbuck.
Day 2
An early morning game drive before breakfast to try to find
leopard which are frequently sighted in Lake Nakuru Park and
return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will
take a further drive to seek out the 2 species of rhino
found in the park, returning before lunch. The afternoon is
at leisure, relaxing by the lodge swimming pool before an
evening game drive in the park.
Day 3
Early morning game drive and after breakfast transfer by
road back to Nairobi.
RIFT VALLEY LAKES - Ref: MA 021
Duration: 2 nights 3 days.

The Great Rift Valley, a massive fracture line in the
earth’s surface, runs through Kenya from north to south and
is marked by a chain of fresh water and soda lakes,
interspersed by volcanoes. The scenery travelled through on
this safari ranges from the harsh and rugged terrain of
Lakes Bogoria and Baringo and incredibly lush and fertile
horticultural and agricultural farmland around Lakes
Naivasha, Elementaita and Nakuru.
Day 1 Nairobi - Baringo L . D
You leave Nairobi in the morning and drive down the
escarpment to the Rift Valley floor, past Lakes Naivasha,
Elementaita and Nakuru to Lake Baringo arriving in time for
lunch, the afternoon at leisure, dinner and overnight at a
lakeshore hotel. Hippo and crocodile abound in this fresh
water lake but most visitors are entranced by the multitude
of birds with over 400 species having been identified. A
boat ride on the lake to view the birdlife can be arranged
at your hotel.
Day 2 Baringo - Rift Valley B . L . D
An early morning bird walk is possible and after breakfast
you depart for nearby Lake Bogoria. This soda lake, with its
shores of hot springs, boiling geysers and steam jets, stark
evidence of the volcanic origins of the Rift Valley, lies
hidden behind ridge after ridge of barren stony scrubland.
Although primarily scenic, Bogoria is by no means devoid of
wildlife and birds are plentiful. You later continue your
journey to Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch at a lodge
followed by an afternoon game drive in the Park, famous for
its concentration of often more than a million pink flamingo
which seasonally feed on the abundant algae which thrive in
its shallow, warm waters. Dinner and overnight are at either
Lake Nakuru, Lake Elementaita or Lake Naivasha. B
After breakfast, a boat ride or bird walk may be possible
before you depart for Nairobi arriving in the city by
midday.

After a night in Amboseli, this safari takes you to the vast
Tsavo West National Park, a diverse landscape of large
tracts of savannah dotted with withered scrub trees and

A morning’s drive to Amboseli National Park, at the foot of
Mount Kilimanjaro, for lunch, an afternoon game drive,

An early morning game drive, perhaps in the swamps, home to
many good herds of elephant, before returning to your lodge
for breakfast and then departing for your scenic journey to
Tsavo West for lunch, an afternoon game drive to Mzima
Springs, a beautiful oasis which is home to hippo and
crocodile, dinner and overnight at a safari lodge.
Day 3 Tsavo - Nairobi B
After an early morning game drive and breakfast you depart
for your return journey to Nairobi.
