Each of the five cottages have private views, en-suite facilities and is
beautiful decor. The lodge has been crafted from local materials of
stone, timber and thatch and has a wonderful and luxurious atmosphere.

activities for them to pursue. Sabuk lodge is simply remote and very
beautiful.
Sabuk lodge remains a family home. The guest cottages are secluded, each
a unique design, open fronted with generous double or twin beds, hand
carved wooden furniture, en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets, hot
showers and sumptuous deep stone baths with amazing views.
Sabuk lodge works closely with the local communities. ‘The Laikipia
Masai’ share their tribal and bushcraft skills, tracking animals,
pointing out the medicinal and other uses of local fauna and flora,
teaching a new way of looking at the wilderness surrounding you, an
amaizing cultural experience not to be missed.
The Sabuk team operates camel assisted walking safaris. This age old
style of safaris can be tailor made to suit all guests and all levels of
fitness. Walking or riding, a camel back is a great vantage point for

Sabuk is an addictive retreat ideal for a couples, a group of friends or
a family there is space and something special for everyone: be it as

Also game drives and night drives after sundowners are popular. Other
activities include horse riding, mornings, lunch or afternoons spent on
the banks of the river where a natural pool has formed, bush breakfasts
and evening sundowners overlooking a dam which is a favourite watering
hole for game including elephant.
